I had the roadside assistance from Auto Vantage.

Somehow in October of 2011 they switched me to monthly membership. I don't know how or why this happened. When I saw the 15.99 charge I thought they were being nice and spacing out my yearly membership. Shame on me for not being more observant of my credit statement. In 42 months or 3 and one half years they had collected $671.00 for a $80.00 ayear membership. When I called them 2 days ago to ask what is going on the lady said we just started the yearly membership and it will be 69 dollars, which is a lie because I had the yearly membership before and I still don't know how this got switched. They have promised to refu;nd $191.00 which I have to see and gave me a confirmation that no more charges on my card. I am still out $2oo which is a month of groceries for a retiree.
