I signed up with AutoMarketing Systems to sell my vehicle June 28, 2010 when they contacted me saying they had a buyer for my car already. They got my information from a Craigslist ad for the vehicle. After I signed up, I never got contacted again. I sold my vehicle myself in July 2010, then waited the requisite 90 days to send in my notarized cancellation form October 4, 2010.

It is March 1, 2011, and I have been calling once a week since the beginning of January 2011 trying to find out about my refund as I was originally told it would be processed within 2-3 weeks of being received. Nothing! I was told several times that my refund request would be pushed through to the supervisor (specifically 1/5/11, 1/11/11, 2/17/11 and other dates I didn't document). I spoke to Kelly, Melissa, and others whose names I didn't write down. I ask to speak to a supervisor every time I call now but have yet to be put through, being told he doesn't take customer calls or isn't in. I asked to speak to his supervisor and was told he doesn't have one.

I was told to submit a complaint form, which would be processed within 3-5 business days GUARANTEED. It was submitted on 2/18/11 and was received by them 2/22/11. Today, 3/1/11, I'm being told that they're processing those in the order in which they were received and that they are currently processing forms received February 7, 2011. This is ridiculous.

They are charging me a $29.00 non-refundable processing fee taken from my $249.00 sign up fee for a non-existant service that elicited no interest in my vehicle, and for taking now 5 months and counting to write a supposedly guaranteed refund check!!! Will I ever see my money??? SCAM ALERT!!! I'm looking for every place I can report them and doing it today. And YES I can provide a Customer ID.
