Avon, Allied Collections Collections Department Lies, Avon takes no responsibility New York New York

I was a rep with Avon in 2006, my account went to collections, albiet my own fault and due to medical bills that were "more important" for lack of better wording.

Allied Collections contacted me and I was told that I could take a reduced amount and never be able to sell Avon again or I could pay the full amount owed and my account would be unlocked. I paid the full amount (even though I swear Avon never credited my last batch of returns -- can't prove it though since it is more than a year ago).

In November of 07 I tried to sign up again and was told my SSN was blocked and I was never able to sell Avon again and that they are aware that the collection agencies use this verbiage but they (Avon) are not responsible for the actions of others.

My district manager, said "don't worry, just sign up under your husbands SSN", which we did and he sent an email to Avon simply asking for my name to be on the website and invoices (after all what man REALLY wants to be associated with Avon). Well, Avon has now blocked his account and we are being accused of FRAUD when in fact it was the district rep that advised us to do this.

We have sent over 20 emails and have left even more messages and have received no response from anyone (although the Finance Department at Avon indicated they would personally contact the District Rep).

I think that both of these companies are committing fraud and that Avon, THE COMPANY FOR WOMEN, cannot take any accountability or offer anyone a second chance to make things right. Really very sad.
