I recieved a very official looking letter saying that i won 1.4 million dollars in a sweepstakes. All i had to do was pay $19.99 for a processing fee. I didnt know this was ILLEGAL! I thought this was real!

I always enter free sweepstakes and fill out questionaires for prizes when i can. I think of this as my "second" job. Because i do this i didnt read the letter carefully and decided that it had to be real. I mailed out the check totally excited! Then i started really thinking about it and decided to research it.

Because of websites like this i realized i was scammed. I immediately stopped payment on my check and am watching my account very closely now. I just want others who actually participate in real sweepstakes to watch out for this letter. I thought i was pretty smart but it fooled me very easily.
