Subsequent to receiving prize notification from Reader's Digest, I began receiving very official-looking documents from several companies in Kansas City, MO, asking that in order "To Formalize Candidate Official Position Playing for $21,000 in GUARANTEED PAYMENTS (pending), I send them a "discounted registration fee" of $10.

This type of scam is despicable, as it preys on senior citizens such as myself, many of whom would not realize this is not legitimate.  They asked that I sen a "Payment Validation And Candidate Printout To Play For Pre-Approved Prize Funds, listed as $21,000.
