Balleys Total Fitness Ballys doesn't honor contracts when club was Holiday Health Spa Washington DC, District of Columbia

When Ballys first took over Holiday Health Spas, they honored the contracts members had on record. Then over the years they began an increae on not only new members but members who had signed on as Holiday Health Spa members.

Many members had signed on as Holiday Health Spa customers with the promise of a first year payment of approx. 300.00-400.00 for the first year, then a yearly renewal fee of approx. 68.00 for life. The renewal fees were NEVER to increase over the lifetime of the member.

Renewal fees were raised by Ballys from 68.00 to over 140.00 for these same members who stayed under contract over the years. When questioned thier customer service reps would gave you the run-around with excuses like increase due to inflation, or taxes, or some other off the wall explantation. Or they would finally tell you to produce your signing contract and send it to the corperate office, it is unknown how many people have thier original contracts from the 1990s
