Bally Fitness Bally's, Bally's Fitness TRICK AND TRAP! FRAUDSTERS! BEWARE OF MEMBERSHIP TRAPS! Internet, Internet

I signed up for a gym membership in 2002 with Bally's fitness. I ended up not using the gym and never going there. I ended up moving. I never received one letter from Bally's about a bill being due. Recently I started receiving letters saying come back to us reactivate your memebership. I then get a letter from a marshall telling me I owe $3500 because when I signed up for my memebership I signed up for a lifetime membership. It gets better. I think the accountis mine, but mine was paid in full and or cancelled when I moved. The account that I am being told I owe $3500 is for my girl friend at the time which they linked to my account. Now I have a $3500 bill for an account i didn't cosign for and when i called bally's they said sorry we cant help me.I asked for a copy of the contract and they did not have it. They could not give me any infor but referred me to a collection agent.  This is crazy and dos not make any sense to me. 1) if you are saying i am responsible for someone else's account wouldnt i have to sign for it? If I did show me the proof. Also this is from 10+ years ago. The first time I hear about this is a marshall because i moved from that address? Stay away from Bally's. It is a scam. Will go to the attorney general and make a complaint on every single website and state agency for all locations until rectified. I have been scammed.
