This company is the absolute worst to deal with. Buyer Beware!!! A representative from their company sold my fiance an 18 month prepaid upfront membership contract to the club. The agreement to the sale was that we would receive 2 free 1 yr vouchers to be credited to our Bally's membership within 7 days of contract execution. This was 2/7/07. It is now 7/14 , approx 5 months later and NO Vouchers have been credited.

We have been inquiring for several months with the club about our vouchers and have not used their services because of the dishonesty of their staff. We called corporate and we were told that they there was no such promotion and that they were not responsible for their salespersons nor what they say to "entice" consumers to sign a contract. The salesperson, continues to lie and brush us aside. The contract gives you 3 days to back out, yet we were told that it would take 7 days to get our vouchers, How Convenient!

I called the company several times and attempted to contact their manager Phil Jupp . He has never returned my phone calls and is apparently never in the club or available to speak with.

Apparently their tactics are to entrap you in their contract by promising verbal agreements to a consumer that they never plan on fulfilling. From the complaints I am reading, it seems to be all verbal and misleading methods that entrap the consumers that fall into their trap. I have already filed a compliant with the Attorney Generals Office and the Department of Consumer Affairs. Unfortunately it looks as if the only method of relief I will receive to get my money back and to rescind the contract is to pursue this to small claims court. As a college student, it is not something I have time to do working full time and taking classes, but it is essentially the only choice we have at this point.
