As a retiree looking for a way to suppliment my social security I stumbled upon Bankcard Empire while web browsing. I called them to find out what their affiliate program was about and they said that I would be trained on how to enlist creditcard processing subscribers from busines that either they would refer to me or that I could sign up independently. They offered three levels of initial participation and I agree to pay $349 for level 2. A day later I recieved a call from one of their sales agents telling me that I could really accelerate my return on investment if I would agree to buy into their 6000 name "call blast" at $2.00 per name. Well I didn't have $12000 to put up so I refused to that offer. He continued with other offers until I finally agreed to a 1000 call blast and a professionally prepared radio advertising programfor my area.

Needless to say, I never received either. So I initiated a dispute on the credit card which I used to pay for their program. I got a positive response from my credit card company but then got a phone call from Mike Green, quality control manager for BankcardEmpire. He told me that they were going to challenge the disputed charge since they had a signed purchase order from me. I told him that while I didn't deny the validity of the order I had never received the goods as promissed. No proof of the 1000 call blast, no radio advertising program. We renegotiated a change so that I would get 2000 calls and no radio and he e-mailed me a letter for my signature indicating my agreement to the change.

Well I thought about this and decided not to sign. I notified him by e-mail of my decision whereby he threatend to destroy my credit rating and that since I had signed the original agreement I was obligated to pay. There is no doubt in my mind that this whole company is one huge rip-off. Oh by the way I did go out on the street and submitted the details of a business that would be interesed inparticpating in their credit card processing. There was no result. They claim to have made six attempts to contact this business withy no luck. Well what do you all think?
