I went to Bankston Nissan of Lewisville to buy a new Nissan and I could not belive the way I was treated. They must all be dummies, all they could do was talk trash about another Nissan dealership down the street that sells way more cars than they do.
Unfortunatly, I LEASED a vehicle when they told me I was purchasing it, and when I questioned them about it the manager "Leslie" told me that it was a purchase (when the contract clearly says lease) and he was "sorry that I didn't understand, bro.", clearly directed at me being an African-American.
When I began to get upset about it "Leslie" said to me "you people can leave", another racist remark. I didn't call him a short white man w/ a woman's name, did I? I just could'nt understand why Iwas being treated this way. I can't believe that it's 2006 and this kind of treatment is still being tolerated. I'm not putting up with this kind of treatment, it's time to ACT!

Several questions:
Did you complete the transaction?
If so, how long ago?
Quite honestly, calling someone "bro" has crossed racial lines and is quite common among people other than blacks.
How did you determine that "you people" was a racial slur? Granted, I was not there and accordingly, cannot comment on vocal tones or intent.
I do know this, dealerships will compete for business and "go for the throat" when trying to make a sale. It makes no sense that they would not want your business.
Now, if you came off like a cocky beligerent jerk, that is another story. The only reason I mention this possibility is because of your comment "it's time to act!".
Again, please explain how you were damaged, real or perceived, and what "actions" you plan.
