Bankston Nissan Of Lewisville ripoff deceptive Lewisville Texas

I purchased a used Volkswagen Beetle from Bankston Nissan/Lewisville. I was told that the car had been checked out thoroughly. When I got home, my husband looked at the engine and saw that the oil stick tube was completely crumbled. I wonder how they did not notice that if they had checked it our as they had said. I had driven the car about two weeks when I began to have trouble.

I called Bankston and one guy told me there was nothing they could do. I called again and another guy told me to bring the car in and they would put it on the diagnostic machine. The first guy had told me that they could not check the car because they did not have the equipment to do so on a foreign made vehicle.

At that point, I decided to call their service department to see if they had the equipment. The service man told me that they did not have the appropriate machinery.

This is my point: when I bought the car, they told me they had checked out everything to make sure there were no major problems. I asked several times to be sure. The saleman assured me that the care had been checked out. How did they check out the car and run a diagnostic test on it when they didn't have the equipment they needed to run the tests? Therefore, they deceived me and broke any trust I had in them.

Since then, I have had to take it to a Volkswagen dealership for repairs. I have spent over 500.00 dollars replacing belts and switches on a car that I have owned only for about 4 months. Shame on AutoNation for allowing such practices to go on.
