Barewire ltd Purchased service contract suppose to have service for life. When contacted with a problem they wanted to charge additional money. Always saying the problem was not covered. Dorking England / Surrey

In May of 2015 I Had a problem with my Dell cumputer. I called Dell Dell informed me that my computer was out of warrenty, Dell's Tech recomented the baerwire co. Dell now denies this and told me they never recomend any other service providor. Being recommented to me by Dell I assumed this to be a relibel company so i purchased a lifetime contract for 399.99. At first the service was ok when I called they would check over my cuputer and update. Then they started wanted to charge me everytime I had a prlblem saying these problems were not covered. I refused and asked for a rebate.

Everytime I called they said their bussness office would contact me. After numberious calls I gave up and wrote it off as my stupidity. Recently I started getting scam calls that my computer had problems. After many scam calls theses called sounded as if they were coming from the same people that work for barewire. I called baerwire the Teck informed me that these scam callers were trying to acess my computer and that they have been having problems with scammers calling their customers petening to be Barewire. I again tried to get a rebate now they claimed that time had ran out for rebate, but they would check my computer and see if there were any problems.

They called back telling me that my IP address had been currupted, I had no security and I was being hacked. They then porceeded to tell me that they could fix all these problems< but it was not covered and that if I paid and additional $500.00 They would fix everything and have my computer running like new. When I told them to forget it taht I would buy a new computer they told me that a new computer woud also be infected because of my IP being corrupted. I went to my internet providor they check out everything and told me that they could find no problems and that everything was protected..
