bass pro shop their employee identified as a merchandising manager robbed my home of valuables after coming to me wanting to buy display material for the store hanover Maryland

their employee who is a local resident  came to my place while i was outside and identified himself as a bass pro store manager and listed items he would buy for display in the store. i had not sold or advertized anything but told him i could sell him some items out of my attic, such as crates of christmas ornaments. in going to help me carry them out he was looking into everything and making offers. after he left i discovered many items missing which he had offered to buy.(value over 300.00 by internet sales) i called him and he denied seeing them. i went to police and they called him. when i got home a small part of the missing items were on my porch in a box with his name on it. the police would not take a report or do anything further. i have written in detail to the store where he works(by email) and to the home office, with no result. i also wrote to the state commission on crime but since the police refused to make a written report they wont do anything either. apparently being a store manager has many unspecified benefits.
