Bathfitters ripoff I paid them $5,700.00 to remove my Tub and put in a shower, the contract dated June 28. I paid them $4.700.00 and can't get them to complete the job. We are seniors and need this shower. finished. What can I do. Hamiltom Ontario

due to our age, 83 and 82 years old. We have very bad arthritis,
we can't lift our leg over the bath tub. We signed an contract with bathfitters, with a cost of $5,419.00, to change our bathtub into a shower. That meant the tub removal, etc. This contract was signed June 28th, 2004. The tub has been removed, but we still require a seat installation and bars installed to prevent us from falling. The shower is half done, we have paid the Bathfitters $4,700.00 in cash, and can't seem to get them to finish the job. The holding bars and seat must be installed, we called them many times and never returned our calls. What can I do? How can we reconmend this outfit to our friends? Can you help? Are we being Ripped off?
