Bauer Investigations Grant Bauer Yet another Victim of Bauer Investigation. Albuquerque, New Mexico

Hopefully you will stumble upon this and then you will be willing to clear your name and reputation.  I am the owner of a private investigative company in Denver Colorado and our company was contacted to do an investigation for Mr. Bauer and his company. The work which was a rush for Mr. Bauer was done quickly and effectively by our investigation firm. That was back in October of 2011.

As of the writing of this complaint our company has been paid on less than half of the invoice.  And the half that has been paid was literally the result of sending numerous emails and phone calls. The last straw that initiated this type of public forum complaint was my most recent two correspondences and direct conversation with Grant himself.  The proverbial check is in the mail response was given.

I find it very interesting that on this site there are currently 5 additional posts from other companies but according to Mr. Bauer none of them are his fault.  My question is what is your excuse for this one? He claims to have an excuse for every one of the unpaid or partially paid investigators. Unfortunately our office did not go through the normal process of obtaining a retainer since the case was such a rush and Mr. Bauer was in such a hurry to get things going. Lesson learned there.

My most recent phone conversation with Mr.  Bauer occurred today at approximately 3:30pm MST and according to him the check is in the mail. We shall see.

If we do indeed finally receive payment I will certainly modify my comments within this arena to reflect the facts.  Which as if the moment I write this...Our company has received less than half of the original invoiced amount (which considering the other posts I should probably feel lucky for). And it has taken roughly 5 (five) months to get to this point.

And to those who take the time to read this... I will never do business with Gran Bauer or Bauer Investigations from this point forward... Once bitten twice shy... Good luck if you so choose to. and hopefully you are not reading this after the fact.
