bc-alberta movers Poor service, no concern for the customer Abbotsford, British Columbia

You know the saying about Fast, Good and Cheap - pick any two?  Well BC-Alberta Movers manage to avoid all three.  We had scheduled them to come move our stuff, and they just asked us over the phone to list the furniture and such items that would need to be moved, which we did.  Then as packing progress, we realized we had underestimated the number of boxes and phoned them again to let them know.  We tried phoning a number of times but no one ever responded to our messages.  

On the day of the move, they arrived on time and proceeded to lay down some matts on the laminate floor and up the stairs.  They didn't put any matts on the carpets in the bedrooms or hallway though, and so they just walked all over the white carpet with their dirty shoes.  After they had loaded about 3/4 of the stuff they said, "that's all we are going to take" and drove away.  They didn't give us a number of anyone to talk to, they couldn't care less about our remaining items.  

We finally got a hold of our contact the next day and he said the best he could do was to have another truck come in about a week and a half to get the remaining items, no apology or anything.  The house was changing possession the next day, so it was a very stressful situation to try and get it moved somewhere else in the meantime.  

We got it moved to a warehouse and they were going to come on Dec 8 to get the remaining items.  However they played a great trick on us didn't come, but instead told us, on Dec 8 that they might be able to show up on Dec 21.  If they actually show up on that day, we will have been living for about a month without the stuff that was the last to be boxed up.

We now know that they do not care at all about the customer.  I would not recommend them, as they are not trustworthy. A better option would be to give away all your possessions and just buy new when you get to your new house rather than trying to use them.
