This company is a BIG SCAM. I am an EX-EMPLOYEE. I know what their tactics are and they scammed me into working for them and I was never paid! Please head the words of other complaints and ignore the positive feedback as it is most likely written by the people at BE themselves.
They illegaly use the names of celebrities such as Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers to draw kids in. They are in no way affiliated with these entertainers! Please beware. Do not fall for their SCAM!
As a scout/recruiter, I was taught to lie to families to bring them in so that the sales team could sell packages to them. I was always told to NEVER TELL THE FAMILIES THAT IS COSTS ANYTHING. The use keywords like "screen test" and "call backs" to glorify the sleazy process. NONE OF IT IS REAL. It's a bunch of jaded adults playing pretend for shifty company owners who pocket all the profits.

Be Productions Office in San Jose "Restructured"/Shutdown?

I tried calling my son's Talent Director at the San Jose office-- a message says she has "left the company" and redirected me to contact the manager (who is a sister of the owner). Out of curiosity, I tried dialling other extensions for the other directors, and get the same message. Seems they have or are shutting down the San Jose location--a friend-of-a-friend who knows someone in the building/maintenance says the offices are empty.
Be.Com needs to provide an up front explanation of their SJ office status to consumers.
