My mother paid over $4000.00 for a set of hearing aids after they "disconted" the price from over $6000.00. They should have been free for all they do to improve her hearing. She hears no better than her $800.00 set. They hurt her ears and and are awful if the least bit of back ground noise is present. We were told they had a "program" built in to supress back ground noise. She has been trying for over 2 years of "adjustments" to get them so she can hear. She is now giving up.
The lady that cuts my hair told me her grandmother also has a set of Beltone hearing aids costing several thousand dollars that hurt her hears and do nothing to improve her hearing. She keeps them in her junk draw.
Don't Get Ripped off by the Slick Ads. Thats why they have to advertise so much! The produce isn't worth having! If someone wants to file a class action suit, I'm sure we would be happy to join!

My mother gave up on her Beltone Hearing aids. We decided to try a local company; Moran Hearing Aid Center. They fitted her with a new set of hearing aids that are adjustable for volume and direction. She can now hear!
Her old hearing aids are in the trash!

My mother recently purchased a new set of hearing aids from a local company a friend recommended. She is delighted with the performance. She hears conversations when in Restaraunt and riding in the car. This proves Bell Tone lied when they told her hearing aids can only do so much. They should have told her their hearings aids can only do so much. Better yet "not Much" would have been a better statement.
I am still hoping a lawyer or consumer group will file some sort of class action suit against Belltone Corp for it's deceptive business practices and it's poor performing products. If anyone knows who I can file a complaint with, please let me know.

One of my mothers hearing aids how now stopped working. It just quit! I guess the quality is as good as the preformance. BAD !
