On top of the automatic 'Managed Care' renewals at $70 a pop, if you go to their web site to cancel the auto-renewals (http://askberkeley.com/cancel.asp?prod=alt) you are required to enter the credit card number and expiration date for the card you used for your order.

The problem is, this is a standard web page, with no security. No SSL, no nothing. This effectively sends you credit card number with expiration date and all your other pertinent personal information in clear text across the Internet.

You are asking for a case of identity theft if you use this web form. And of course, there is no one you can contact to discuss the problem. Their so called 'customer care' is nothing more than a telephone sweat shop, full of minimum-wage idiots. They advised me to snail-mail the company with my complaint.
