I just wanted to let everyone know that you should not order from Best Buy Golf Supply. I ordered my golf clubs on June 2nd 2008 and have yet to receive my order. Not only that but I have received no information on my order than the website saying it is being processed. When I called the number posted on the website, two thing have happened. I was filtered into a answering maching that prompted me to leave a message and then told me it was full and disconnected, and secondly spoke with a representative who told me that the phone line is only for new orders and all questions involving existing orders are addressed by e-mail.
I understand that these are custom made and that this company may be very busy, however I should at least receive some customer service on my order. I have e-mailed countless times and received no reply. I just want to play some golf and my season is ebbing away. Apparently the customer is not important to this company and does not deserve any business.

You do not have to fill a container to get your golf componenets shipped!!!

AUTHOR: Helpfull Person - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 25, 2008

That statement you made is so false by making that statement you clearly have never worked in that industry. The orders are placed with the factories in China. The factories do not ship the orders. The Forwarding/Freight/Customs Agent firm takes control of the boxes once the factory is done. They then will combine your smaller shipment with other smaller shipments to fill that container going to the same region. When I worked in this industry, we use to do this all of the time. The ocean liner then hits CA, and the orders are dispersed to the locations all around the USA. The Container then gets broken down at the Forwarding/Freight/Customs Agent and a freight truck drivers it to your location.

Keep in mind there are thousands or hundreds of containers on the boat coming from china with all kinds of products.

Also for the most part, the factories run like clockwork. Every now and then you get a slight delay but they are pretty darn good on getting you a tome frame on your pro-forma invoice when you get you order confirmed. The factories I used to work with did work for some of the biggest names in golf along with smaller companies and those outfits are well ran.

It's a catch-22

AUTHOR: Chex - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 20, 2008

It's a catch-22. Chinese companies won't ship until they have at least a full cargo-container. Because the Chinese companies are slow and stubborn in shipping, American customers get frustrated and stop doing business with the companies that would be filling up those cargo containers. And then American customers hop around from company to company, trying to get the merchandise. And that means the cargo containers take even longer to get filled up.

And yes, it's EVERY company that buys stuff from China. You probably just haven't noticed the problem in any other area, because you're not in the market for that other stuff. How could you possibly know the situation also affects things like batteries, cleaning supplies, automotive parts, computer accessories, clothing, blankets, dishes, and thousands of other products, unless you were trying to purchase those items and getting the same feedback from the companies you're doing business with?

Chris Jones are you ok??

You have no idea how much business we do and it is none of your business. We have shipping golf products all over the world for the last 15 years. We are a world leader in golf distribution. You can really see a persons integrity hiding behind a computer writing negative things about a person or company when you do not know that person or company how does that make sense? You can not make everyone happy but we sure try. Just some people are mean and live a unhappy life. We have posted our phone number numerous times for customers to contact us and if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call anytime. Cheers...

Ways to find good golf component or custom club builders

AUTHOR: Helpfull Person - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, August 17, 2008

There are many quality companies out there that will not do this type of stuff. I would suggest using www.freegolfinfo.com and the patrons of the site have great insight into this industry and can suggest quality companies that run an honest business

Ken, you are a joke!

AUTHOR: Chris Jones - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 16, 2008

Ken- you give the same excuses over and over. With you, its not your fault, its your suppliers and everybody elses fault. Heres what you fail to recognize....It has little to do with being backordered on equiptment, an average consumer understands problems like that, ITS THAT YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RIDICULOUSLY HORRIBLE!!!! Your company has the worst communication skills in the history of business. The only number you give on the website has a human answer it about 1% of the time! The other 99% of the time you get a voicemail, (if the mailbox isn't full, which is very common). You never get a call back from the voicemail you leave, you never get an email back from trying to get answers on the website. The avenues that you provide for your consumers to contact you are basically a joke. I've even had the BBB try to contact you on my case numerous times and they can't get you to answer their calls either. You turn everything on here to were all crazy because we're acting like golf is more important than family and life.

On the contrary, I wouldn't care if I never played another hole of golf the rest of my life if I could trade it for the safety of my wife and kids. Every excuse you use is a cop out. Its not that were putting golf in front of anything, its that you are a golf company and its your business to provide products ordered and communicate with your customers in a timely manner. I know you say you get screwed by your overseas manufacturers but why doesn't it happen to all of the other golf suppliers on the internet? Do they only screw you over? Maybe they do because you've pissed them off just like all of your customers! I know, I know, you have many happy customers, blah, blah, blah, blah....................you also have a higher number of unhappy customers than the average business should.

Writing the same things over and over

AUTHOR: Ken - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 05, 2008

Blaine, Your order has beeen shipped to already and just like the other 2 orders you will receive it any day. Folks we work with over 40 manufacturers we are a distributor and look all the complaints we get for them not having product in stock or back ordered. Folks all the products for the golf business come from China/Tawain it takes 30 days for a ocean shipment. If these manufacturers are keeping a tight inventory because of the economy it is out of our control. We place orders with our suppliers and we get short shipped all the time. We are sorry we do own these companies. The good news out of all this is we are starting our own line golf product and will not using any of these irons, wooods, wedges, putter manufacturers any more. I sure wish consumers understood the business more and also knew the hundreds of thousands of happy customers we have serviced over 15 years.
