Best Debt Solutions stay away from Best Debt Solutions and Acushield financial Escondido California

I entered into a contract with Best Debt Solutions Inc almost 3 years ago. At that time I was told they would be able to settle my accounts that where totaling about 25000.00 for about 14000.00. I have now spent over 23000 in payments and fees and only settled half. They currently have over 9000.00 in a savings account of my money to pay off my debts. I have been calling since August of 2007 asking to start settling my debts. Nothing has happened every time I call they say they will check into it. I have never received a call back even though I have been told I will get a call back every time I call. I am also paying 2 fees at a time for the same thing no one has been able to explain to me. I also have paid all of the fees that I was supposed to pay and that was over a 1000.00 more than what I was quoted. Half of my debts where settled in 2006 because of a large balloon payment I made of 8000.00. I have horrible credit because of this and I cannot figure out why some of the debts that where settled are not reflecting that. I never received that paperwork stating the settling of debts on those 3 accounts and only one on my credit reflects that. I have also been very annoyed with the fact I have called over the last 3 years and have been told the business has been sold. I cannot contact Best Debt Solutions any longer and only acushield financial seems to exist. This process has been horrible and ruined any chances of owning a house any time soon even though I have been financially responsible.

Recently only after filing claims with the bbb and washington state attorney general have i had responses. They are basically telling me with the 9000.00 they can only settle one debt and that I would have to pay the rest on my own. That puts me in the end with still 17000 in debt with horrible credit. They will not work with me on paying this off only tell me this or nothing.
