Best Holiday Marketing Liars and rip-off artists Laredo Texas

    There is a company, Best Holiday Marketing, with an office in Laredo who’s predatory and fraudulent business practices you should be aware of.

    On September 14^th of 2014, my wife and I met with representatives of Best Holiday Marketing.

    During the course of their presentation, they offered to purchase our two timeshares, one in Maui, Hawaii and the other in Branson, Missouri.

    At no time was it mentioned that Best Holiday would locate a buyer for our timeshares. The entire conversation was based on them buying our timeshares if we purchased their Vacation Getaway Package.

    We have paperwork stating the price that they are paying and their intent to close no later than 180 days from that date.

    It has now been almost a year, and Best Holiday Marketing has not fulfilled their obligation.

    At the time of the presentation, they collected $984.61 to pay for the opening of escrow and our closing costs, PLUS $8,100.00 for the Vacation Getaway Membership.

    During the past eleven months, I have been in contact with the company by phone and email. In every conversation, they indicated their willingness to close, but there was always an excuse as to why it wasn’t being done. I have 61 emails to and from Best Holiday Marketing supporting my claim.

    The only reason my wife and I were interested in their program was their intent to purchase our timeshares. We are both in our seventies. My wife has had hip surgery and I have had open heart surgery. We no longer travel as we once did, and the prospect of not having the annual maintenance fees associated with our timeshares was very appealing.

    Their presentation was just what we were looking for, a vacation program with no annual fees in exchange for our two timeshares.

     Due to their failure to close as promised, (which we have in writing), we have been duped out of $8,100.00 of our life savings and still have to pay the annual maintenance fees on our timeshares out of our fixed retirement income.
