i hired nationwide relocation servies for my move. had a binding estimate for 2900 dollars. they hired best price mover to move my stuff. didnt tell us upfront that they contract out. movers didn't show up when we were told and had a contract, then driver called and demanded 2000 dollars more saying that our load weighed 3000pounds more then it did when it left michigan. refused to pay more, driver never showed up.

called police and they talked with karen at best price she dropped price down to 3200dollars and driver still never showed up. then 2 weeks later after 50 phone calls some joker from anthem claim management calls me and demands even more money to be wired transfered to some job blow in god know where or we would never see our stuff. we told him to get the moving truck in front of the house and that was the only way we would be paying anything to anyone.

we also contacted rescue movers to try and help we filed with the dot, the bbb three different police agency's, and we still do not know where our stuff is. stay away from nationwide relocation out of florida and best price movers of illinois and anthem claim management. they are pirates and ripoff's and your own government and police agency's that you pay taxes to won't help you put these people out of business. I even called the news in las vegas and they seemed disinterested, i guess if one of the news people our their family had there stuff stolen they would do a story on it.

I even contacted dateline, i dont want this to happen to anyone else. I am currently working with the illinois attorney general's office, i let you know what they were able to do. oh and the bbb forget they gave these jokers an a rating. anyone being ripped off by best price movers call the attorney general's office and file a complaint, also call the dot. maybe if these people ripoff enough of us someone will get off there a*s and help.the attorney general's number in illinois is 312-814-3000.

file police reports in your own town and in chicago, some of them will tell you its a civil matter ask for a courtesy report anyway. contact any government agency you can. stay far far away from these three companies i told you about. and don't hold your breath for any governmental help, it doesn't exist. hey any attorney's in chicago that want to take on about 200 cases's against this company by all means get in touch with all of us who have been hung out to dry.
