THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU HAS MORE COMPLAINTS THAN ALMOST ALL OTHER BUSINESSES LAS VEGAS Nevada

The better business bureau is without exception the biggest ripoff we've ever encountered. As they require payment upfront to be a member they are by nature an extortionary organization. We had a complaint and requested the complaint itself and who made it. No chance, as the BBB wouldn't give it to us!

How do you refute a complaint if you don't know who made it or what the details are? The Las Vegas BBB claimed it was in storage and they didn't have access to it. We've since requested the complaint in writing three times over the last year. We still don't have it, the details of the complaint, or who made it. Even in court you have the right to confront your accuser. Not so with the BBB, especially if you've never paid their extortionary membership fees.

The bottom line is that if you pay them, your business is basically immunized against what may be legitimate complaints giving a consumer the false sense of security that a business that displays the ridiculous BBB symbol. But if you don't pay them off, you're not entitled to make an informed rebuttal or answer.
