In November of 2011 I went to the Big O tires off of Austin Bluffs Parkways in Colorado Springs, Colorado to have an oil change and rotation of my tires. When I had my work done they told me I needed a fuel system service and power steering service done.
I had returned a few days later and had my service done. They took forever when they were doing it, every time I would look out the window into the garage the guy would just be standing around instead of working on my car. Once they were done, I paid over $200.00 and left.
A few months later my husband decided to change the oil on our car ourselves because he absolutely hates Big O because we had problems with another one before located in California. When he was looking under the car he realized that they forgot two important clips underneath that holds on my front end, then also didn't happen to mention that I had a leak in my steering fluid line. Which would explain why we had noticed it was low a few weeks ago.
When I had called and spoke to the manager, Kyle he did not care. He asked me when I would be able to bring it back in, and basically pay all over again. I told him that I would not be bringing it in anymore. Then he decided to tell me that it was months ago and how was he suppose to know if they even did it. I feel they were completely unjust in their services. They did do these things to my car, they were the last people to have done work on it. Whether they want to admit their wrongdoing or not, I know they did and I will no longer be a Big O customer and neither will be any of my family across the U.S.

Why is he so sure that the people who changed the oil and 'serviced' the fuel system and power steering, lost the font end clips (whatever that is)?
Just curious.

You obviously missed my entire point let me be a bit more direct.
It was a "few months" after you took it to them when your husband "found" these issues. There is NO way that he is going to be able to prove anything they did caused the leak, that the leak even existed at that point, or the clips no longer being there. The fact that he was or was not able to look at it before a few months means nothing. Had it been found a few days or possibly even a week or so after you had it serviced..you may have had a chance, but not MONTHS after.
And this website is meant for complaints on companies and their wrong doing, which is exactly what this report is about
- Really? Well I am still waiting for any proof of what they did wrong.

Thanks for looking so deeply into what I've written. For your information, my husband was deployed so that means if maybe you don't understand...he WASN'T here. To comment on my education is pathetic and irrelevant at that. I, personally do not know any valedictorian that took auto in school. And we are college graduates but thanks.

- So a few MONTHS after you had it serviced your husband noticed this. He must be some great mechanic if he is not only able to notice this, but to have the ability to go back in time and be able to prove that these conditions existed a few months before. Let me guess..you or your husband weren't exactly High School Valedictorians.
I will no longer be a Big O customer and neither will be any of my family across the U.S.
- Somehow I don't think they will miss you.
Oh and before you ask..no I am not an employee of this or any mechanic.
