Big Schott Management Scam-watch out for these guys on neworleans.craigslist.org Metairie Louisiana

I, like a lot of people, am currently looking for work. I visit craigslist for a lot of my job searches because a lot of employers post there. I came across this ad that stated:Assistants needed-Use your people skills and adminsitrative abitlities to advance in an entry level management position. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment. We provide full training. Please call (504) 456-5995 ask for Ashley to set up interview.

I called the number and immediately got an interview. The only things they wanted to know was if I was over 18 and had reliable transportation. They told me to go to their office on Sanford St. and "dress sharp". I was excited about having an interview, but also a little wary. I'm not a naive person.

I went the next day to the "interiview" and there was music blaring from a small stereo. There was another girl there dressed nicely, like I was. Alexis Hernandez brought us both into an office and asked if we minded being interviewed together. I was really weirded out by this, but I decided to see where it would go. After about 15 minutes of asking questions, he told the other girl that he would review her paperwork and give her a call. After she left he told me that I was invited back for a second interview. I got really excited, but still had a bad feeling.

During the interview Alexis Hernandez told me that this company had been going strong for 34 years and had over 75 locations nationwide. The true tip off was the fact that he said this job was "economy proof". When I asked him what this company managed, he said I would here more about it in my second interview. He gave me a business card that had no website listed on it. This inspired me to google the company. There was a yahoo maps location listed for it that listed the address that I went to, but nothing else as far as an official website goes. There was also a testomonial website that listed a ton of testomonials that working for Big Schott Management was such a great opportunity and that Alexis Hernandez and the others at Big Scott Management were the best people to work for.

That was the end of it. I knew it was a scam immediately. These people took my social security number when I went in for my first interview. I have since called the Better Business Bureau of New Orleans, called the Socail Security Administration, and filed a report on www.neworleans.bbb.org. If you have been a victim of this scam, I encourage you to do the same. If you come across this ad or anything like it, don't fall for it!! Most importantly don't give them your social security number.
