Bill Heard Chevy Washes hands of customers once they leave the lot. Kennesaw Georgia

Purchased brand new Chevy Venture WB edition van in June 2001. Fully loaded. 2 weeks after pulling off the lot, the car broke down on the side of the interstate. Towed it to Bill Heard, they said the computer wires had been crossed at the factory causing the wires to be burned by the engine. Claim they replaced.

3 weeks later, exact same problem happens. Tow it to Bill Heard. This time they say that the wrong type of main computer system had been installed at the factory. Claim they replaced it.

Maybe a month later, I return to the Bill Heard shop again. This time because the car seems as if it wants to stall out when coming to a stop. Obvious transmission problems. Bill Heard says there's nothing wrong with the car. I make at least 6 more trips back to the dealership and always get the same response.

On Christmas Eve of 2001, just 6 months after buying our brand new car, the entire transmission falls out. Car is towed to the nearest Chevy dealership (which is not Bill Heard). There, the mechanics said the trans was in such bad shape there was no way any mechanic could have looked at it and not seen it.

Called Bill Heard with this information, they never apologized, let us return the car, offered any assistance. Completely washed their hands of us. Not only would I never buy from them or let anyone I ever come in contact buy from them, but I'll never purchase a Chevy ever again.
