Billy Demetro sold us a van from Craigslist under by owner. He told us that his company purchased vans new for his company. He said his company transported medical supplies back and forth from Augusta and Atlanta. He said that this was the reason of the high miles on the van. He said that his mechanic checked out all his cars. I asked if we could have our mechanic check it out and he said yes, and other than a tune up or brakes he would give us up to a 1000 dollars on repair bills if the car didn't check out. He even put it in the bill of sales. Got the car checked out at Chrystler Dodge jeep. The mechanic said this was the worst van he had ever seen. It ended up needing a head job. (1000's of dollars to fix) luckily the car had some recalls and I called Dodge recalls and this was covered. We went to get emissions and it wouldn't pass and it didn't even have a current emissions! It is against the law to sell a car without emissions if you are a dealer. This man never told us he was a used car dealer! I found out by researching him. Took it back to Chrystler and they said it wouldn't pass emissions because the check engine light wouldn't work and it was odd that it being a 2012 and the check engine light wouldn't work. Temperture gage wasn't working either It needed an instrument cluster. It wouldn't even pass emissions without it! That was going to be $900! My husband called  Billy and sent him a certified letter. My husband called him and he said like I said up to $1000 have your mechanic call me. The mechanic called him and Billy told the mechanic he purchased the car from an auction.(of course Billy denied this) He told our mechanic he might pay for half. I called Billy and told him this was not our agreement. He hung up on me and said,"Take me to court I won't pay anything now". This is Wrong and you don't do people this way. He will answer to God one day for ripping people off and lying.
