Birch Communications Deceptive billing practice Atlanta Georgia

 The long distance telephone service I had been with was purchased by Birch. After several months of service with no changes, Birch institured a bogus "Recurring Charge" fee of over $8.00 per month. The notice of this new fee was in small print, rather buried in their mailed bill. I also received email billing from them, and no notice was made in any email communicatio from them. So I paid the new charge for two months before I caught it, and cancelled. Only a little over $16, but a slimey way to increase profits.
