Birdsong Electric Birdsong Electric, they will overcharge you, do not use!! Garland, Texas

I called them on 9/10/2012 to repair a light fixture in my place of business, they are located less than a mile from my business and the tech was here in less than 10 min.  As it turned out it was just a ballast, the man fixed it in less that 30 min and he was gone, he said that they would bill me.  On Oct. 2nd i received the invoice in the mail, the bill totaled $ 306.02, i was shocked, i was expecting maybe $ 150 or $200 at the most.  the ballasts cost approx $ 20 at Loews or home depot so we're not talking expensive replacement parts.
    They charged me for 2 hrs of work at $ 87.50 when the tech was not even here for 30 min $41 for the ballast, $ 2 for wire nuts, and $ 65 for a truck charge (what ever that is).  when i called to complain the lady just said that it is there policy to charge a 2 hour min for any job, ive heard of a 1 hour min, but never 2 hrs, i've even confirmed this with other electricians in the area and they have not heard of such a thing as a 2 hr. min.
    I'll never use them again, this is the second time i have had a problem with them overcharging me on a job, it looks like at least one person other has had issue with getting over charged on his hot tub. 
    Never again, save your self a lot of problems and do not use this company!
