Birthday Mania www.birthdaymania.com Misrepresented Product (pinata), received damaged product (pinata) and would refund it, but I would have to pay shipping. Watertown, Tennessee

I purchased, what was purported to be, a Phineas and Ferb Pinata, from Birthday Mania . Instead, I received a generic, make your own boy pinata, covered with dried glue. Inside the box, was a crumpled Phineas and Ferb mylar balloon. When I complained to customer service (both in writing and via telephone), I was told that the pinata was as ordered. The pinata was supposed to arrive "customized" in that Birthday Mania was supposed to have glued the balloon to the pinata. Although the pinata was damaged, they refused to pay for the shipping to return it. I do not mind paying shipping for returns, if I change my mind regarding an item or if I ordered the wrong size. However, when the company is at fault, they should pay for the return shipping. The pinata was around $18.00 and so return shipping (due to it's large size) would cost me at least 1/3 of the price. In addition, customer service was rude and abrupt.
