black river electric cooperative, inc. c.h. misrepresented and lied. over charged me in order to collect a bill owed by a unrelated third party sumter South Carolina

i purchased a business in summerton South Carolina in 2010.  black river electric located on sumter s.c. provided electricity for that area including my business.  about 6 years before i purchased the business the electric company had installed underground wiring for the previous owners who were tlc holdings, inc.  when the electric company finished the installation and billed tlc holdings, llc, tlc holdings, llc promised but then refused to pay the bill.  so the ceo  c.h. "herb" leaird raised their electric bill, which is illegal, and continued to charge a higher rate to tlc, holdings llc.  years later, i came along and bought the business and began to notice that my electric bill was incredibly high.  i contacted the electric company on many occasions complaining about the high charges and they always merely stated that i was using the electric and their charges were fair.  after about a year or so, i contacted the ceo, c.h. leaird, ceo and informed his that i was going to hire someone to investigate this wrongful amount of charges which was in the thousands of dollars.  a few dayus later, herb leaird, c.h. leaird called me and ask that i come to his office in sumter s.c.  once i arrived, he informed me that he was trying to collect monies owed by the previous owners years ago and he had over charged me as well.  he offered to change the rates down but refused to give me a refund for all of my payments which were fraudulent.   Herb C.H. Leaird is a liar and a cheat.  he is dishonest and tried to cover up what he had done.  beware of black river electric cooperative, inc for they are crooks.  i have filed a lawsuit against black river electric and knoow one day i will win for justice will prevail.  i can be reached at (((redacted))).  hutson
