When I was shopping for insurance, I called Blue Cross Blue Shield first, because I’d been using them for years. They were more expensive, but I had a degree of confidence in them.

Before I finalized my plan, I asked if my doctors would accept the policy. I was directed to a Web site where I could check. My doctors were listed, so I pulled the trigger. This was an out and out lie.

NONE of my doctors accept the policy.

Now, I am stuck paying more than $1000 a month for my wife and me, AND paying for our care out of pocket. I feel deliberately deceived.
