Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Georgia They made mistake and now refuse to pay Ripoff Atlanta Georgia

I had surgery in February 2004 - I called and was "pre-approved" for surgery in 2004 - someone entered the year as 2003 instead of 2004 on ONE paper and now Blue Cross is refusing to pay stating it was a "pre-existing condition."

I have had my Doctor who performed the surgery provide all necessary documentation, I have spent days and days and days on the phone. When I ask to speak to a supervisor I am told "you can put your name on a list and MAYBE someone will call me back in 2 weeks."

Now I am being threatened with collections agencies that will result in a black mark on my credit report due to no fault of mine what so ever. If I have to hire a lawyer it will cost me as much or more than the surgery.
