Blue Cross Blue Shield of California copay policy is unfair and discriminatory.  Copay for medication (PremPro) which is currently the focus of a lawsuit (due to carcinogenicity) is lower than copay for the medication (Estrace + prometrium) which is a safer option.
If the CEO of BCBS was a woman, I doubt this would be a problem.  Genocide?

Co-pay

AUTHOR: patti - (United States of America)

The cost of a co-pay is based on the price of the drug, which is set by the manufacturer not the insurance company.  Another factor would whether or not it is generic.
