This company: BMG (Berkeley Marketing Group) is a total Scam. If you hear from them or any of their people run for the hills.
They claim they are trying to help people and that they have a great investment opportunity called F3. That should have been the first clue to this. Everything for F3 on the internet says it is a scam.
They use investment clubs around Southern California to build up the clientelle, going to the Cash Flow Games in the area and selling others on their own game and investment class. They show a lot of flashy numbers and there is some truth in what they say. That is the mark of a good scam, make it fully believable and prey on the people who invest.
Everything they do, is believable, mostly because you want to believe it. But there is no intention on getting you the returns. They promise you 6% return a month with their fee being 2% leaving you with 4%. The paperwork they show you makes this all seem plausible by using the same methods that Hedge Fund Managers use. This means spreading the money out by several Brokers and the total investment among all investors is over a million- hence you meet the terms of a qualified investor.
BMG takes the money from those involved, they return the 4% for several months in two monthly payments. After several months they offer an upgrade to level 2 which promises much higher returns of up to 8%. They make it clear that the group must decide if they are going to upgrade or not- hence putting the blame on the group and not on themselves.
Once the group has bought into it, suddenly the money is lost. They claim they were the victims of a scam in the level 2 portion of it and the money is gone. They claim they were robbed as well. Then BMG comes back and offers a way to get the money back, it requires using the members Credit to get loans and get the returns on those loans to payback the money lost.
Old saying of Fool me once, shame on you- Fool me twice, shame on me.
I cannot say enough- Stay away from anything offered by Frank Hamilton, Michael Jones or Berkeley Marketing Group in Southern California, they are theives and scam artists.
