On June 20, 2007, I walked into Brad Benson Mitsubishi - Hyundai Monmouth Jct, NJ. A sales rep and I were negotiating a purchase on a 2007 Hyundai Elantra, which included a $2000 rebate and 8.95% APR. I informed them that I might not qualify for financing, due to an insufficient credit score. I was told not to worry about it. The rep assured me that if other banks didn't approve me, then Hyundai's financial institution would finance me.

They informed me that Hyundai's bank is in California and that I'd have to wait for it to open in the morning. They gave me the keys to the car and told me to take the car home.

The next day my sister, said she received a phone call from Brani, the manager of the dealership. Brani said that I was denied financing and my sister would have to cosign. Also at that time, she was told that they could not sell the car at the rebated price and the APR would be at a higher rate.

Later, she received another phone call saying that she would have to purchase the car for me, in her name and insurance only. She flatly denied that request and informed them that I would be taking the car back in the morning. She was told that the car couldn't be returned and that I owned the car.

Then, I contacted them and they still insisted that I could not return the car. That evening, my sister did some research on the internet and found that this was a known dealership tactic called the Spot Delivery scam aka Yo Yo Finance scam.

The next morning, my sister, contacted Assistant Director of Middlesex County Consumer Affairs. My sister explained the situation to the lady. She advises to return the car immediately. "Terms of Contract" changed. Car was returned on 6/22/07.

Mr. Brad Benson has continually harassed me and my family members with phone calls & threats of lawsuits. Mr. Benson, repair your Better Business Bureau record, reputation & business. Perhaps, consumers would want to do business with you again. Highly! Doubt it now, since you put a consumer's confidential personal credit history up on the web.

Consumers do not do business with this dealership. He might put your CONFIDENTIAL PERSONAL CREDIT HISTORY up on You Tube. Beware of Brad Benson Hyundai in NJ.

The SLUDGE POEM was Posted on 8-24-2007, not 8-23-2007. Make sure to read it. Also read the Christmas Song Posted after the SLUDGE POEM. The CEO of Toyota QUIT after these two Posts!!!

Make sure to go to the TOYOTA page of this site and keep yourself updated to all of the events taking place, especially the CEO's departure in the last week.

Also, go to www.9news.com and type in the name ORNELAS and search the story that made the Front Page of the Denver Post on 5-19-2005 and watch the Video that made the 10 O'Clock News on the #1 Most Watched News Station in Colorado, 9News. 9News Cares! A simple letter did all of that! ( I wrote that letter)

You can put a small display ad in your Local Newspaper that says:

GO TO ripoffreport.com and type in HYUNDAI and read my story on 9-13-2007

This small ad will be DEVASTATING for that Dealership and cost them THOUSANDS in lost sales!! Just do it!! Keep EXPOSING them!! Congratulations!!!!

P.S. Make sure to read the SLUDGE POEM from a few weeks ago. I believe it was Posted on 8-23. A week or so later, the CEO of Toyota decided to quit his job! He was with Toyota for 37 years!! The CEO's are starting to FEEL THE HEAT!!! Stay updated on the Toyota page. Something BIG is going to happen!
