We provided handyman services to Mr Brett Jacobson March 10, 2010, after the work was done our technician requested payment of $165 but Mr. Jacobson said he would pay only $100. The handyman came back to our office telling us that Mr. Jacobson offered less than the bill stated and refused to write him a check for the correct amount. In order to find out if there was any problem with the services provided I immediately went to Mr. Jacobson's residence trying to get an explanation or a good reason for the requested discount. He left me outside his house for hours standing at the front gate as he sent different employees that laughing asked me to wait a bit more in the cold and saying that he found typos on our contract that entitled him to pay less. After about 2 hours of that childish back-and-forth waiting game one employee named Brian came out and said that I was going to be lucky if we got any payment. So I left the property. We pursued payment using the phone number of someone claiming to be his employee (Alix Van Arnan), which through text messages on March 24, 1020 said that Brett Jacobson offered to pay $130 instead, which I agreed just to drop the problem. They never sent the payment and our collection company reported that they moved and the numbers they had are no longer good. We are filing this report hoping that Mr. Brett Jacobson will read it and pay the outstanding amounts with proper late fees and interest.
