I stumbled onto this site by accident when I was checking into another company scam. I was totally stunned when I saw BrightBuilders and how many people have been taken to the cleaners by them and an affiliate company "Strategic Financial Svcs.". I am a disabled Vet and was looking for a way to supplement my small disability pension. Obviously it had to be something I could do out of the home and an E-Commerce/Business seemed the perfect vehicle.

I received a phone call from a Mr. Grant Woltjen and Bright Builders concerning a program they had that sounded like it ws custom made for me. He further stated that I could/would be a success within 6 months and would appear in their next Infomercial which would be aired in 2007.

He then went into his sales pitch. This man was slick - so slick that he makes used car salesmen look like saints. This pitch went on and on and on and on. Finally he got around to money and my credit card. He quoted some ridiculous price and I told him that I couldn't afford it and didn't have that kind of credit available on my card anyway.

With that he was off and running at the mouth again. I told him God only knows how many times that I wasn't interested. What I should have done was just hang up. In the end, just to get him off the phone, I agreed to $2734.00. I feel truly lucky that this is all he got out of me considering what some of the others have been through.

At any rate, i was set up with a coach (Eliza Elmer) who would help me get an eBay business going so I could start showing a profit immediately. While being coached by her the process of developing my web store would be started. I had 6 coaching sessions with Ms. Elmer in which I learned the same thing I could have learned on the eBay web site had I been interested in an eBay business. Seems all they did was change the eBay wording so it looked as if it was their own.

Once the 6 sessions were over I asked about the training to develop and start the web store since that is what I was most interested in. I was then given a spiel about using eBay and finding ways to leverage my money to pay my credit card debt. The more I pried into the web store deal the more clear it became to me that there was not going to be a web store unless I wanted to invest considerably more money into site development.

At that point in time, I told them to put everything on hold and I haven't heard a thing from them since. I never pursued it because I felt like a complete idiot for getting sucked in like I did.

I mentioned Strategic Financial Svcs. as being affiliated with them. I am not certain how Strategic got the information and can only assume it was through Bright Builders or whoever they are. They had a great package to offer which would help with all the legalities in setting up my business as an S-Corp and they would do my accounting for me. The initial charge was $500.00 and after 3 months there would be an additional $29.00 per month to cover expenses. For this I received nothing.

I was able to form a corporation (file State and Federal papers) for $60.00. I contacted Strategic and told them I wanted a refund of my $500.00 and of course got the "No Can Do" blerb from them. I then contacted the Seattle BBB (which handles complaints in Utah) and ultimately got a $400.00 refund. They claimed they were keeping $100.00 to cover the cost of "non-recoverable material". I still haven't figured out what non-recoverable material is or was.

Which brings me to today. I've read 2 pages of complaints about Bright Builders but there has been very little in the line of updates. What has been going on? Obviously this company is still bilking people out of Thousands of dollars. I've already contacted a lawyer and plan to pursue this. Nothing would make me happier than to slam these people with a major class action law-suit. Let them run around with nothing more than the underwear on their backs and let them see what it's like to be ripped off. If anyone is interested in a class action suit PLEASE CONTACT ME

Lets get these crooks and shut them down for good.
