Brighten Communications Ripping my wife off of the pay they owe her ripoff Corona California

My wife was laid off from her job, so when she was offered a job working from home telemarketing she took the job. This company told her and they even sent her contracts stating the first twenty hours of employment she would be making 10.00 dollars an hour and after that her pay would go up to twelve. So, after she agreed a couple of days later she was given her first assignment. They gave her five pages of telephone numbers and had four hours to call everyone that was on the list.

My wife set leads but she could not call all those numbers in four hours. Then she recieved an e-mail stating that because she could not call all those people they were going to terminate her position and they would send out her pay. When a week went by and she did not recieve her pay she contacted them, they told her that they mailed it out on Tuesday and they asked her if her address was 28 Williams St and she said no, it is 28 Warren St. they told her that is what we have on record.

So, my wife went to Career Builder where they found her resume in the first place and she looked at her resume and all the information was correct. Whatever happened to the 72 hour law. I don't think this company has any intentions in paying my wife. We raked up a nice phone bill making all these comanies and the company doesn't have the decency of paying my wife. Something has to be done because these people think they are above the law.
