"TONER LIFE END" PLEASE REPLACE TONER!

I have researched this extensively, and have very important information regarding the way Brother (Major Printer Manufacturer) Shortchanges MILLIONS of people every year. I would use the word "scam", but I was advised by a brother representitive that they are very cautious about "Slander" over the internet (because they dont want you to know). Understand that this is not just me being upset, or having a grudge against Brother, It is a much greater level in which I have secured a professional law team to develop a class action lawsuit.

- We have done tests with 50 brother cartridges in fully operational, brand new brother printers. Upon each cartridges "end life" we removed the cartirdge from the printer (by end life I am reffering to the printer not printing because it is claiming there is no toner left).

- The plug on the side of the Cartridge gives you access to where the actual toner is stored. (the plug with the sticker over it that claims if you remove this sticker, your warranty for the cartridge is void.) We removed the plug from all 50 cartidges....THIS IS WHERE THE MAIN ISSUE BEGINS.

- Upon opening the cartridges that have been determined to have reached their "toner life end", we were very surprised with what we had found.

EVERY SINGLE "EMPTY" CARTRIDGE WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO EMPTY. THERE WAS OVER 1/4 OF THE TONER STILL SITTING INSIDE THE CARTRIDGE. FROM THE 50 "EMPTY" TONERS, WE WERE ABLE TO COMPILE OVER 10 FULL CARTRIDGES!!!!

Now, If I am paying upwards from $40 for a Genuine Brother cartridge, I do not expect to be throwing 1/4 of my money out. And on top of that, I repeat the process over and over and over for the duration that I own the printer.

* I contacted brother-USA regarding this matter and was given the following explanation:

According to the "brother policy", once I remove the sticker that is covering the plug to gain access to the actual powdered toner, my warranty for the cartridge is then void, which they will offer no explanation or provide any support on the matter at that time. The representitve also informed me that it may be a problem with my printer, attempting to steer the attention into a different direction. By the end of speaking with the representitve, I had no answer as to why my printer refused to print even though there was still over 1/4 of the toner remaining in the cartridge.

***FOR YOU TO REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF, YOU HAVE TO VOID YOUR WARRANTY, SO THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE TO OFFER AN EXPLANATION. VERY SMART IDEA TO HELP COVER THEIR TRACKS.

*So in short, here is an overview of how brother shortchanges MILLIONS of people out of money every year:

They sell you a really nice printer for a very reasonable price, because they know that once you have the printer, they now have a new customer to purchase their overpriced toner. The printer will not be able to print once the toner has been determined to be "empty". You take the toner out, send it back to brother as part of their "enviornmental program", they pop that little plug off, fill it up with 3/4 toner (because your 1/4 is already left in there) package it up and put it back on the shelf.

See for yourself, take a Brother toner that will no longer print because it is "empty"....pop off the plug....hold it over a garbage, turn it upside down, and see how "empty" it really is. You will be very surprised.

**NOTE: REMOVING THE PLUG WILL VOID THE WARRANTY ON YOUR TONER. (***why exactley would I ever need a warranty on a toner for anyway?)

As 30 year printer tech(work on brother printers but not employed by them)The cartrige will make the number of prints stated on specs .They put some extra toner  in the cartrige because the yield is different due to page coverage.

Very simple solution......

Cover the sensor with a piece of tape (black electrical tape) on the non-gear side of the cartridge. It tricks the printer into thinking the toner is full, then you'll be able to keep printing until it REALLY is out. Works for me, every time!

Hope this helps.
