We are trucking company hired but Brohters Logistics, Inc. to haul a load out of Columbus, OH to Breingsville, PA on 2/25/2013. The load was faxed at 4:46pm for pick up ASAP -5:30pm. Our truck was onsite at 5:07pm but the shipper told the driver that he'll have to wait for a while beause they are backed up. Tony from our office called Brothers Logistics, Inc. their dispatcher at 5:15pm Mark said to have the driver write down the time in and out and we'll be compansated for waiting. Tony told him it will be $50 per hour after 2 hrs. Our truck didn't leave the shipper till 9:54pm the following day Tony called and advised Mark at Brothers Logistics, Inc. how long it took our truck to get loaded and that we needed detention time for 3 hrs. Their dispathcer told us to have the driver fax the bill of lading showing time in time out and they'll get it approved from the shipper. **Why are you going to get it approved from the shipper when shipper know how long it took them to load the truck last night.** We had the driver fax the bill of lading to Brothers Logistics, Inc. Tony called everyday for almost two weeks then billed Brohters for detention with out getting revised rate sheet for the addtional charges. When Motor Freight, Inc. was paid the detention was not paid. Brothers accounting dept claimed that it was not approved by the shipper. On 6/3 spoke with Jeff he said unless it's marked on bill of lading... But it was marked we had the original also GPS tracking. Then Jeff emailed and said that our truck showed up later then his apt time but his agreement states asap -5:30pm the truck was 23 minutes prior to the cut off. He said customer was not goign to pay that's it. We mailed certified letters to all parties involved after no one asnwered we then pressed charges on 10/28/13 as indiecated in our letter against the shipper. Jeff Rosenfeld called and threatned Bob Miller in our office then cursed him out after he declined to accept $100 as a settlement. This matter was settled out of court with the shippers attorney paying $450. This is a great example to show that "Sometimes the prize is not worth the costs. The means by which we achievce victory are as imprtonat as the victory itself."
DON"T Deal with Brothers Logistics Inc. they are not honest and they will cause more problems if you're a shipper or trucker. Very BAD PEOPLE>>>>>

Just for all of you to know, the compaining carrier lost it's operating authority back in 2013. There have been numerous complaint against this carrier for doing the same thing to other brokers in the industry. They are out of business and cannot haul loads within the United States. What goes around comes around. Brothers Logistics, Inc. is an honest company. Can't satisfy the world, but we sure can back up any complaint with proof that we are in the right. If detention is due, detention gets paid.

99% of the report is a lie! Carrier was to arrive at pickup by 530pm. They were late. It was a first come first serve shipment as a work in. Dispatcher was well aware of this fact. Carrier sued my customer and we ended up paying them 450.00 for the 150.00 claim! It was cheaper than going to court… so this carriers who,by the way,was operating without an authority which is illegal, was well compensated. This carrier is well known for these tactics. The people he mentions in his report do not and never worked for our company. They are liars and everything can be proved to show they are the scumbags and operate illegally and they also double broker loads so be aware of this scamming carrier.

VICTORY IS SWEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTT.......
We have all the back up documentation that's why this matter was settled out of court. I'll tell you one thing we have a network of carriers that we Blocked them out of our system. Jeff make up his lies as he likes but at the end of the day we got paid and collected all are fee's. If more carriers would go the distance and teach this mo fo's that this is how it's going to be honor your what you tell your carriers. They begged us to take the load it was late in the day and they were struggiling they couldn't move the load for hours.

This trucking company is nothing but a scam Motor Freight is the company that are crooks, running without authority as it was revoked. Confirmation clearly states NO DETENTION will be paid unless in writing. They were told they would be a work in and the dispatcher was aware of this. The "claim" they spoke to a Mark at our company. No Mark works, or ever has worked at Brothers Logistics, Inc. They actually sued my customer, which even the judge stated was a fraudulent lawsuit. They had nothing in writing to show detention. They had every opportunity to not pick up the load but they chose too. The person writing the complaint never talked to anyone from Brothers Logistics at the time of the load. Only person we spoke to was Tammy..the dispatcher. Motor Freight are liars and crooks and have several complaints against them on TIA! They shouuld be avoided at all costs. We ended up paying our customer $425 and they settled the case as the judge recommended as the costs of attorneys would have far outweighed that. So these extortionists got $425 for a $150 claim! Really? So who is the scam artists? We have over 10,000 happy carriers that enjoy doing business with Brothers Logistics, Inc. So people, it is Motor Freight who you should be aware of, not Brothers. I can prove everything I have stated!
