Budget Brakes check with news channel 5 they did a sting on them Nashville Tennessee

Buddylee, this is Michael Palazzolo, co-owner of Budget Brakes. Many of the statements made in the NewsChannel 5 stories were factually incorrect, and the tone of the pieces gives a very negative and misleading impression.

For example, Channel 5 said one of the mechanics didnt do the adjustment its reporters paid for, when in fact he did. Likewise, the reporters were not charged for unnecessary repairs or for work not done. The stations hidden cameras show the brakes getting a few squirts to clean the brakes, as if this is something unorthodox or improper. This is how brakes are supposed to be cleaned.

I met with the Channel 5 reporters and news director to explain all this, but they were not interested in the corrective information as it appeared they already had their storyline written. An investigative reporter not interested in the facts can make just about anyone look bad if he or she works hard enough at it and has an agenda.
