Burlington Coat Factory rip off victimized many consumers Chesapeake Virginia

Recently I purchased almost $800. in clothing from Burlington Coat Factory. When I tried on the clothes, one suit did not fit properly and I returned it to the store along with my paid receipt, tags still on the suit only to find that they have a "No Refund Policy".The sales clerk pointed to the bottom of my receipt where it states their policy and offered to give a store credit.

In my opinion thier moral compass is spinning like a top. This customer will never make a purchase from them again. If I filling up a shopping cart and told the check out clerk that I would send a payment to them within the next year....would that be okay with "Mr. Burlington"? Don't think so...

Burlington Coat Factory does business in 48 states! If you are considering shopping at that store let me caution you. Be VERY careful making a selection. If you do not have time to try on thier merchandise, or if you purchase a gift for anyone else IT CAN NOT BE RETURNED for cash or credit card refund.....

This is NOT a customer-service oriented store!! Other, high-quality, moral retail stores for all kinds of merchandise will cheerfully offer a refund with a paid receipt and store tags still attached to the item. You will find these stores on the Fortune 500 list....

Customers and their opinions are important to the survival of any business. Burlington if you are listening or more importantly, if you CARE, take a lesson from your competitors and consider a change. Thinking of your "bottom line", take a lesson from Retailing 101 CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. If may improve your bottom line and reputation in retail.
