butler and associates, Law Office of Brian P. Butler Scamming people out of their money sayville New York

Back in August I was looking to get a Loan Modification on my house and came across the Law office of Brian P. Bulter or Butler and Associates. I gave them a call and decided to begin the process with them. The guy I spoke with told me that they have a high result rates which included lower monthly payments.

I gave the company my information to start the process, turned all documents in on time. The person who was to help me with my loan modification was Carolyn Fuentes, whom I only talked to once. She never returned my phone calls. At one point I would call 3 and 4 times a day and left messages on the voicemail about twice a week. No one ever called me back.

I also received an email from Lisa Randall about she was going to help with the modification as well. I never heard from her either. All that I got from these people was emails about documents that I needed to sign and send back. When I called to ask if they had received the information I was told no, even though I had sent the documents over a week ago. Carolyn checked and saw that it was in her email. I guess they don't check their emails.

They had told me the process was 3 months. After the 3 months nothing happened. I called my bank and they told me that they didn't even have any loan modification paper work for me. The company also had a desece and desist order on the account. I eventually took it off because the company was doing nothing for me. I ended up filing my own loan modification which only took 2 weeks and I only had to turn 2 pieces of paperwork instead of  the many that butler and associates insisted they needed.

In late October while I was on vacation I finally got a call from someone, but then it was too late I had already applied for my loan modification. November 1 my modification was approved and November 13 butler and associates sent me a letter saying that they had closed my file. They never did anyting to my so called file. 

I called to speak to a manager, which was Timothy Riley and told him I wanted my money back and such because I was never in contact with anyone from the office. I explained that I had called multiple times and gotten no response from anyone. That was about a month ago and he said he would look into the files. Of course I have not heard anything from him either. I have left multiple messages. This company is a scam.

Lucky for me I guess I have all the times I have called them on my phone and emails that was sent, and the times that they called me which was maybe 3 times. Stay away from this company they will not contact you and when you call no one ever answers. I just called them 3 times in the last hour and no response.
