Cali Bamboo BamDeck^tm Decking Material Product Complaint

BamDeck^tm is a composite decking material that badly delaminated less than three weeks from installation to the point where there was a significant risk of tripping on raised and swollen boards and of splinters, some six inches in length.  The deck is a total loss and can not be repaired.  On 3/25/10 I informed Cali of two boards that had started to delaminate after one day of exposure to the elements and was told that this never happens and to go ahead with the installation.  I did so and the deck was finished 4/9/10.  On 4/26/10, after a weekend away, I see that the delamination and swelling, cupping and arching had taken place throughout the deck.  Cali informed me I had failed to follow their installation guidelines of leaving an 1/8^th inch gap between boards and, so, they were not responsible.  The delamination, swelling, splintering, cupping and arching, however, were occurring even on boards that did have an 1/8^th inch gap.  Cali has been completely unresponsive.
