We ordered $100 worth of wine grape vines on January 6, 2011. Order # 4479. It was our understanding that the vines would be shipped at the appropriate time (February from what we'd read elsewhere). It is now mid March and we have not received our order. Despite several emails and a message left with the company, we haven't heard a response on where our order is. Today I discovered the location on our account with order status, which says shipped. Where are they?
As a home winemaker we are really excited about growing some of our own grapes and will be extremely disappointed if we receive them too late to plant. I will be even more disturbed if I have to go to this extent in getting my $100 back on top of the inconvenience this will have caused us.

To clarify the response by California Rootstock, we were asked when we purchased the vines in January when we would like them sent. Based on research we'd done in our climate here in NC, we requested them in February. They finally arrived March 22, nearly 2 months late. Furthermore, we never received a single communication from the company on why the vines were so late, or an apology, just a false statement here on Ripoff Report. Vines also arrived without the planting sleeves we ordered to remain in the company's warranty. This time I informed the company about the separate ripoff report I was filing and we actually received an email response appologizing for their terrible customer service.
