CAMCO Capital Acquisitions Management ripoff totally illegal debt collecting scam!! We victims should call once a day to say they are crooks. Rockford Illinois and Houston Texas

I too have become a victim of the illustrious CAMCO. My mother received a letter from them at her address stating that I owed $1055.00 to CAMCO and that I'd better call and set up payment arrangements.

I knew something was up because I've seen my credit report and it is SPOTLESS. When I called, they weren't there (during supposed business hours) so they called me back. DANA PERRY, a case handler there, explained how difficult she planned on making my life should I not pay her for a B of A debt from 1991!

I don't think I even ever had a B of A card. And I was still in High School in 1991. This didn't faze her. I basically told her that she could forget it, I wasn't giving them anything. She told me that she was going to make a note that I was uncooperative and send the information out to be placed on my credit report with a new date, therefore making it "active again".

As others have said, they had my SS# and a copy of my credit report which FREAKED ME OUT.

I called her back after doing some research and finding out that what they proposed to do with my credit report is ILLEGAL. I told her as much and asked for her full name, address, phone number and other pertinent info on the company and said I was going to report her to the Attorney General of Arizona and the Federal Trade Commission. She got so mad, she hung up on me.

I think I'm going to call her everyday and harass her as she does to others. I think all of us who have been hounded by these people should call once a day to say they are crooks and that we're going to report them to all proper and interested authorities!
