Campus Lodge Apartments This Apartment is the worst complex I have ever lived in. Tallahassee Florida

The ultimate irony is that this place is called "Campus" Lodge--the implication is that it is a residence for students. Wrong. Anyone can live here and literally anyone does. I had a pregnant woman living below me who blasted music all hours of the day. My roommate, or should I say roommates (my literal roommate and her boyfriend) completely comprimised my safety and the apartment would do nothing to protect me.

They placed me with a roommate who was not in school and because she and her boyfriend had different schedules they would leave the front door unlocked sometimes 3 times a day. Campus Lodge would not do anything to help me. In fact their lease basically says that they are not obligated to protect you from your roommate...And I quote, "We are not and will not be responsible for the acts or omissions of the other Residents in the unit and you assume the risk of living with others under this arrangement."

This lacks common sense considering residents have absolutely no choice about the TYPE of roommate that they assign to your room. It is clearly only about profit and no regard for the safety of their residents. In addition to this blatantly illogical circumstance, this complex has severe maintenance issues. I have gone almost a month without a fully functioning toilet and the complex refuses to fix the problem despite numerous calls and maintenance requests that I have posted online.

Clearly, neither placing phone calls nor filling out online requests seem to work. They have tried to charge me for a utility bill that I paid the previous month in addition to the current utitlity bill. The utility bill always seems to fluctuate without cause. I have literally been gone from the apartment for two weeks and the utility bill was the same or a bit higher. They have towed my car even though I went by the office on 2 separate occasions to get a parking decal. The wooded infastructure is gradually falling apart and they will not do anything to fix it.

The complex is cluttered with garbage on the sidewalks and stairs. I have walked up the stairs on two separate occasions to find condoms on the ground. Sometimes I call the complex and no one picks up the phone and they NEVER return messages. I could complain about this complex for days, but I don't have that kind of time.
