Capital Billing Service sent me a letter claiming I owe $1098.90 to a company named American Readers Source. I owe no such bill. This is clearly a scam. The letter says if I do not contact them in 30 days to refute the bill they will consider it valid and try to collect the funds. It also threatens to contact my credit reporting agency and negatively impact my credit rating if the bill is not paid. I plan on reporting both Capital Billing and American Readers for fraud.
